I want to thank those who in a time of uncertainty expressed their unwavering support for my efforts.
As a precautionary measure, given the prolonged exposure to those bugs,I will be treating myself with this.I however will not take any chances and will be substituting expresso as the medium. You can't be too careful.
I will be away for the weekend and will check in from time to time.Have agreat weekend and I will be back on Monday.

Some may think of my post to be crass
Others just thought I had a bug up my ass
It certainly was not worded right
In fact, it did give Anna a fright

It was an exercise I thought I would ply
Just a social experiment I wanted to try
I am fairly cerebral ,not at all lazy
I know that some might think I'm crazy

I still do not think it at all inane
Or positive proof that I am insane
To save mankind I will stay on this pike
Until the time I handoff to MiKe

Hey,

Nice poem.
Btw Rob do you know how to post music files on a blog? I tried but the problem is I can't mange to upload some music files from my hard drive to a URL. This would allow me to make use of the html code that would post the music on my blog.

Sorry MiKe

Mike--
Having never done it, I'm not sure how to. I DO know, however, that the code you use makes a difference in what kind of file you can use (some are mp3 specific, some only support wav files) so make sure you have the right one.
www.domaindlx.com has a huge amount of storage for free, but I'm not sure if they'll let you upload music files. They allow for everything else, though, so it might be possible.

I love the smell of coffee brewing in the pot
But where youre putting it may smell quite alot
And thats not what i like to smell in the morn
And believe everyone in my household i would warn
But my dear friend, your link was a gas
Not showing it to hubby; french roast up the ass?
So have a nice weekend and watch for brown streaks
I just cant control these tears on my cheeks
Gee, how rude but in fun its just fine
You know I'm grateful you poemed that blog of mine

TEHEHEHE: Buying some stock in Columbian!!! ;-)

I'm quite glad I was poemed.
It gives me something to do every day.
Reading posts on THE POEMSTER, yo.
Yo.
Yo yo.
Unfortunately I only post when I'm tired
and my thoughts are random
and I feel the need to write down every single fragmented one.

Annas poems wont open for me and Anna-Banana?, youre blog is too sophisticated apparently for my broken down components....would have loved to complete my cruise of the blogs listed but my "tubes" overheated and now my computer keeps flashing the sign, "It's not my fault!" But, i never give up; I will return! HMPHF for now only!

Just a little poem
To say I've reached home
Although the days expired
And I am really tired
I wanted to say goodnight
Before I turn out the light

I know you probably missed the Sunday Sermon but I really couldn't do it.So next week I will not let you down.Thanks.

mike, the audioposting is pretty easy, and if you want to upload songs through it, i haven't seen a rule stating that you can't. all it takes is to have as clear a line as possible, and some experimentation (everyone's favorite pasttime) to figure out the best place to stick the speaker and the phone.

other than that, i've found a midiplayer that's supported by another site, that you can stick different midi files into. that requires that they be held on a viable url though, so that won't do too much good.

most of the basic blog programming is pretty easy otherwise rob, and if you need a hand or anything, just let me know. this is nothing compared to the cobol and c++ crap i used to deal with at ibm when i couldn't avoid it.

cheers to you all...

I would be careful uploading anything if you don't hold the rights to it.Actually, I would steer clear of it altogether, it isn't worth it.

To defeat the competition
Can't be sittin on no fence
Cause the heat be too intense

So I'm givin rappin a crack
My fingers are all pointin

Like that stupid half full glass
My crotch I gotsta grope
An dis rappin be da dope

Deys nowhere you can hide
From da king and all his trash

Hey Rob,
I've just finished my exams. I was waiting for this moment with great anticipation, but now I'm just bored, I've got nothing else to do with my life until my summer job.
BTW one of my poems has been selected for publication, at http://www.voicesnet.com/Entry.htm . So that kinda cheered me up.

All good news MiKe,
Except the boredom part.See what you can do to enjoy the time off. It's good having nothing you HAVE to do.Then you have time to do what you like to do.I can think of something that would be good, maybe you could go to esse's site and tell her about your poem. She wants to get published too.She needs advice.I'm going to check out the link now.
Congratulations MiKe!

Aw Libby,
Thanks so much for commenting on that and I'm happy you appreciated it.For that simple fact I will do another one.You made my whole afternoon much nicer. The first half was easy then I had some trouble but it was fun.I didn't think it was going to be so hard.I think I'm going to listen to a little rap so I can do it better.I can't imagine doing something for 3 or 4 minutes worth.

I saw this on the news and it struck me. Looks like we lost a great poet....

Mattie Stepanek, 13-year-old poet and advocate for muscular dystrophy patients, died in Washington on Tuesday of a rare form of the disease, a hospital statement said.

Stepanek began writing poetry at age 3 to cope with the death of a brother. In 2001, a small publisher issued a slim volume of his poems, called "Heartsongs." Within weeks, the book reached the top of the Times' best-seller list, the MDA said.He wrote four other books: "Journey Through Heartsongs," "Hope Through Heartsongs," "Celebrate Through Heartsongs" and "Loving Through Heartsongs." His poems brought him admirers including Oprah Winfrey and former President Carter and made him one of the best-selling poets in recent years.

Despite his condition, Stepanek was upbeat, saying he didn't fear death. His work was full of life, a quest for peace, hope and the inner voice he called a "heartsong."

"It's our inner beauty, our message, the songs in our hearts," he said in an interview with The Associated Press in November 2001. "My life mission is to spread peace to the world."

Prayer for a Journey

Thank You, God,
Not just for life,
But for our journey through life.
Life is a miracle,
And a journey through life
Is so full of so many more miracles
If we travel with our Heartsongs.
Thank You, God,
For blessing me with the
Gift of Heartsongs,
So that I can enjoy my miracles.
